SMALL ESTATE (under $150,000)

When the estate is under $150,000. With or without a will.
A full list of estate assets is required.
Great value for spouses (common law or legally married).
WITH A WILL, ESTATE OVER $150,000

When there is a will, the estate is over $150,000 and the estate trustee is not the sole beneficiary.
Includes collecting the original will. Includes preparation of an affidavit of execution if a witness is available.
Includes arranging payment of the Estate Administration Tax.
NO WILL, ESTATE OVER $150,000
$2975.00
When there is no will and the estate is over $150,000.
These are the most complex applications, with the most problems for applicants.
Includes consents, renunciations, and bonding.
MISSING WILL DOCUMENTS - EXTRAS
$750.00
We will charge an additional fee of $750 for each of -
- You cannot provide evidence of death of a pre-deceased executor
- You cannot provide evidence of a prior divorce if required
- There is no affidavit of execution and no witness to the will is available to sign one now
ALL CASES - EXTRAS

We will charge an additional fee of $750 for each of -
- You are unable to provide an accurate value of all assets on death
- There are more than 5 beneficiaries
- There are more than 2 trustees applying
- The estate cannot pay the Estate Administration Tax now and Court-approval of deferral is required
- A proposed estate trustee does not reside in Ontario
